The reading today is from Lao Tzu the founder of TAOISM

One of the main insights of Taoism is that if we observe nature which expresses the unnameable mystery of the, Tao, we will be led to the intuitive wisdom inside of ourselves that will guide us in every situation.

In the same way, that winter turns to spring and new buds replaced the bare branches of winter so to our lives, have an intelligence and mystery guiding them like an invisible river that knows it’s way back to the source.

In order to be in harmony with this flow, we must cultivate patience to wait for the right time to act or yield. Lao-Tzu writes:

How can our lives

keep its course

if we will not let it flow?

Do you have the patience to wait?

Till your mud settles, and the water is clear?

You can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?

The master doesn’t seek fulfillment.

Not seeking, not expressing,

She is present, and can welcome all things.
