SPIRITUAL PRACTICES
Science of Mind and the Centers for Spiritual Living teach spiritual practices that are informed through metaphysical teachings and all major religions of the world.
AFFIRMATIVE PRAYER
A five-step form of prayer that guides you to know the Truth behind all things, that we are filled with the energy of God and Universal Spirit. We are divine beings with the inherent qualities of God.
God Is All There Is
We are One with God
We know and create our good
We express gratitude
We release and let go
MEDITATION
Every Sunday we hold a meditation before the Sunday Service. We also have classes and practitioners of Science of Mind who can help guide your meditation practice.
SERVICE
Performing service is a foundational principle and practice of all major religions of the world. There are many opportunities for you to engage in spiritual service at InSpirit.
GRATITUDE
The practice of seeing and acknowledging the good that surrounds us, more than an emotion, gratitude is an attitude of appreciation and acceptance.
COMPASSION
The practice of respecting the essential nature of all life and claiming the same good for others that we accept for ourselves.
PRACTITIONER PRAYER
Science of Mind licensed practitioners (RScP) are able to perform affirmative prayer and other types of spiritual work or coaching. Practitioners go through a four-year formal course of study and examinations in Science of Mind philosophy and teachings.
INTENTIONAL MANIFESTATION
The practice of mindfully bringing about the greater good, a more abundant expression of life, and a better condition for all than what existed before. Spiritual Mind Treatment, or Affirmative Prayer, is our primary method for intentional manifestation
SELF-AWARENESS PRACTICES
Being mindful of one's motives and inner dialogue, self-awareness is the foundation for conscious choice in what we think and how we feel. These practices include silent reflection, journaling, spiritual coaching, and others.
