Answering the call of life begins with listening. Isaiah 30:21 tells us

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'”

John O’Donohue reminds us of the richness we discover when we answer life’s call. “Every life is braided with luminous moments.”

“Your life is much deeper and more meaningful than you can fathom.”

But how do we answer correctly? Ralph Waldo Emerson reminds us, “Do not be too timid and squeamish about your reactions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better."

We receive further reassurance in Jeremiah 29:11.

“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

And finally, our founder Ernest Holmes has this to say about engaging with life’s call.

“Life is not just something to be endured. It is to be lived in joy, in a fullness without limit.”

“We have within us, a power that is greater than anything we shall ever contact in the outer, a power that can overcome every obstacle in our life and set us safe, satisfied and at peace, healed and prosperous, in a new light, and in a new life.”

“As I go forth today and embark on the wonderful experience of living, I am on a journey of self-discovery and also of the discovery of the self hidden in everyone and the Power in back of everything.”

“Prepare your mind to receive the best that life has to offer.”
